My name is Tramp. I am based in Henderson, Kentucky where I write and record original material in my home studio.

I have had 3 record deals, traveled every state but Alaska and Hawaii, toured in 9 different countries, been divorced twice, filed bankruptcy, been to jail, helped to start ROMP, worked 12 years underground in a coal mine, was fired from a chemical plant, have 3 children and no pets. I am single.

I perform live with my 3-piece combo called Tramp. Live show in my “Video” section. Call me for booking.

For Sideman stuff, I do Utility (electric/acoustic fiddle, mandolin, mandola, BGV’s). I have solid body electric instruments as well as acoustics available. I am 2 hours away from Nashville and Louisville.

I am willing to tour beginning in November, 2024. I am a Nashville Musicians Association (AFM Local 257) member.

I DO offer file-share overdubs for AFM SSOD scale of $200 per song. I write and record original material for sync placements. 100% clear. Instrumental mixes and stem sessions available.

Sync Placements: Pure Country (Warner Brothers Movie with George Strait), Honey Boo Boo, Amazing Race, Auction Kings, Toddlers and Tierras. I use DISCO and can provide playlists. My email for sync is tramp@trampcamp.net.

I was a signed artist with Walk the West (Capitol), The Cactus Brothers (Liberty/Capitol Nashville), and Bonepony (Capitol/Super Duper). I was a writer for Almo/Irving and Rondor.

I also did Sideman and session stuff with The Kendalls, Lucinda Williams, Hank Jr., Deana Carter, Kevn Kinney, Hayseed, Tall Paul, Richard Julian, Tim Easton, The Shakers etc.

I left Nashville to do right with my pregnant girlfriend in 2004, grew one of the biggest Bluegrass festivals in the world (ROMP), was Assistant Director of the Bluegrass Museum and spent 12 years underground in the coal mines. My sons are teens now plus I am divorced, so I have pivoted and am now trying to manifest a life for myself that has me making music for my job again.

I work for The Eric Group as an Audio Tech/Stage Manager, work shows as an I.A.T.S.E. Local 102 Stagehand, do in-studio sessions anywhere in the world, provide internet sessions from my home studio (Tramp Camp) and play out live.

Tramp Camp is my publishing company, record label and a dedicated room in my Kentucky house with Pro Tools, some AKG mics, Apogee interface, solid body electric and acoustic instruments.

I specialize in rootsy, bluesy, Old time, Country, Blues or Electric Psychedelic styles.
